Background

Since 1994, the Premier Oncology Hematology Management Society (POHMS), formerly the Pennsylvania Oncology Hematology Managers Society, has assisted oncology and hematology practices with more efficient and cost-effective ways to manage their practices and resources. The Community Hematology Oncology Consortium (CHOC) was established to function as a group purchasing organization for its members and to share any benefits derived from group purchasing activities.

To provide an optimal drug-purchasing environment for Hematology Oncology practices.  

How We Do Business

CHOC selects a preferred vendor, based on a competitive bid process, to provide aggressive drug pricing, payment terms and a variety of related services to eligible CHOC member practices.
